This restaurant, though barely a year old, has made not only a huge impression on the Chicago food scene, but also on us. The name refers to a French mansion that once served as a hangout for the Rolling Stones. We have visited this spot a couple of times and each time we have been impressed. From the fresh and delicious small plates and gourmet specialty pizzas, to the Parisian inspired atmosphere and decor, this place is a feast for the eyes as well as the stomach. It is one of our personal favorites for a Girls Night Out. The service is outstanding and their mixologists have created some of the most unique drinks in Chicago. If you go, here are our recommendations.
To eat: Squid Ink Strozzapreti- Made with fresh Maine lobster, this dish is to die for. Their pizzas are also delicious!

One of our favorite evenings in recent memory was our late Girls Night Dinner out to this New Asian restaurant. We were they for a special Halloween dining event called "Dim Sum in the Dark" but we guarantee than any day at Sunda will be just as special. Not only is the decor perfect for a GNO, but the fare is light and so very flavorful. While pretty much every item on this extensive menu looked amazing, we unfortunately had to limit ourselves to a few small plates to share with our table. We started with the Brussels Sprout Salad with chilis, fried shallots, nuoc cham, and minced shrimp, and ended with one of the most amazing desserts we have ever had! And that is saying something.
To Eat: We loved the signature sushi rolls, particularly the Yellowtail Jalapeño. Now on to our favorite part of the night: the dessert. Among the many tasty options, the choice for us was very clear. With a name like "Ridiculous", how could we not be intrigued? This masterpiece consists of vanilla ice cream wrapped with ginger carrot cake, walnuts, caramel sauce, and whipped cream cheese to form one massive ball of goodness! A trip to Sunda is not complete without this dessert to end the meal!

This happening restaurant can be found in the lower levels of the Hotel Sax. With an energetic vibe and spacious dining room, this spot is perfect for a girls night out with ALL the girls (trust us, it can handle the large amount of estrogen!). Breakfast, lunch, dinner or even just wine and cheese, Bin 36 has a menu that will satisfy every girl's craving. One notable feature about this wino hub is their mission to dispel some misconceptions about wine and those who know it well: 1.) Wine is too complicated 2.) Good wine is too expensive 3.) Wine experts are snobby. This restaurant is out to prove that these myths are absolutely untrue, and after our experience, we would whole-heartedly concur.
To Eat: If you aren't going for just the cheese and wine pairings (all of which we can attest to their deliciousness), we would first recommend the Crispy Arancini. This dish is smoked mozzarella encrusted in dough to form a cheesy ball of perfection atop a creamy mass of tomato sauce. For the entree, we chose the Cedar Plank Salmon and were completely satisfied with the simple yet exquisite flavors.
