Pretty Palates at Blackbird

Happy almost Friday! Today is the start of a brand new set of posts in which we will bring you some of the best restaurants in Chi city, along with a little outfit inspiration. We think that every eatery has it's own special flair, and we love to tailor our outfits to match! You'll of course see some can't-miss menu items that will make your tummy rumble, but also the lipstick we wore, or bag we chose to carry. With each new Pretty Palates post, we will be sharing a resto we are raving about, and  the outfit we chose to rock! To kick it all off, let's begin with an acclaimed Chicago classic...

Blackbird  

We've had this spot on "the list" for ages, but after hearing from a friend that it was their absolute number one pick in the city, we decided we could wait no longer. So we gathered up some friends, and headed to this Randolph Street gem. Located right next door to Avec (another incredible place), Blackbird is all white, all glam, and all gourmet. We decided to order a few small plates for our table to share. (The only way to go, in our opinion!)
